SPECIALTY & DENTAL SURGERY UPDATE
- Team CHEW

CHEW has now officially stopped scheduling specialty surgeries during our remodel. This was an incredibly difficult decision for our team because we know how much families and pets rely on us for these procedures.
We have also stopped scheduling dental surgeries at this time. Unfortunately, our modular unit does not have water access, which prevents us from safely performing dental procedures during construction.
Our team is currently reaching out to other hospitals in hopes of establishing referral options that may offer discounted pricing for families who would have otherwise had surgery performed at CHEW. We will continue posting updates as we receive more information.
While this transition has been overwhelming at times, we are excited for what this remodel will bring to our community — improved workflow, updated equipment, and a better overall hospital experience for both pets and their families. Our goal is to move through construction as quickly and smoothly as possible so we can reopen full services soon.
At this time, we will continue seeing patients for wellness care and mild medical concerns. Please keep in mind that during packing, moving, and construction, there will be days when the hospital is temporarily closed. We will continue posting updates here regarding closures, reopening timelines, and when we are able to resume scheduling additional appointments and surgeries.
Thank you for your patience, support, and understanding as we work through this major transition.
